Agreement reached with the player, deal expected to be finalized within 10 days despite gap with Marseille
Inter Milan are getting closer to securing Luis Henrique, the right winger from Marseille, who would serve as an alternative to Denzel Dumfries in the Nerazzurri squad.
Sky Sport's Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio via Fcinter1908.it confirms that the agreement with the player is practically done: "Inter Milan have taken a major step forward toward signing Luis Henrique, the attacking winger from Olympique Marseille.
There is a broad agreement with the player on a five-year contract and the related financial terms.
Agent commissions are also nearly finalized, with only the agreement between the two clubs left to be completed. Negotiations are well underway."

Offer and Demand Figures
Inter Milan have raised their offer to €25 million (£21.2 million), including bonuses, but Marseille is still holding out for €30 million (£25.5 million).
Despite this gap, both parties are confident a deal will be reached — the shared goal is to close within ten days.
Inter Milan are moving quickly not only to beat competition for the highly rated talent but also to have Luis Henrique ready for the Club World Cup in the United States this June.
Meanwhile, Juventus have shown interest and gathered information but remain on the sidelines for now.
For them to become serious contenders, they would need more time — a resource that currently favors Inter Milan.
Player Profile
Luis Henrique Tomaz de Lima, born in 2001 in João Pessoa, Brazil, is a dynamic and versatile winger. He is comfortable on either wing but is most effective cutting in from the left to create space or shoot with his stronger right foot.
Having started his career at Botafogo, Henrique moved to Europe in 2020, joining Marseille for around €8 million (£6.8 million).
After a loan return to Brazil in 2022–23, he came back to Ligue 1 and has since matured tactically under coach Roberto De Zerbi, contributing 6 goals and 4 assists in just 13 appearances in the 2024–25 season.
Known for his:
- Explosive acceleration and dribbling
- Ability to beat defenders one-on-one
- Good vision and crossing ability
- Willingness to track back defensively
Henrique’s progress has attracted interest from top European clubs, including Bayern Munich, highlighting his rising value.
His contract with Marseille runs until June 2028, making Inter Milan’s move for him both ambitious and strategic, especially as they seek to strengthen their squad ahead of the FIFA Club World Cup in June.
