Inter Milan change transfer strategy and drop pursuit of Lookman, opening the door to Zalewski negotiations
Ademola Lookman will continue to play for Atalanta unless an offer arrives from abroad: the negotiations with Inter Milan can now be considered closed.
Inter Milan have changed their transfer strategy: according to Sky Sport via Fcinter1908, the deal for Ademola Lookman is definitely off due to a change in plans by the club.

As reported by Luca Marchetti, “they no longer need a wide forward, and this has been communicated to Atalanta, confirming they are no longer in for Lookman.
The Nigerian’s deal did not progress well, both because of Atalanta’s strong stance and because Inter Milan, after discussions with Chivu, realised they needed a different type of player.
This, in fact, made way for the Zalewski negotiations: if the Lookman deal had still been ongoing, this transfer would not have taken place.”
Lookman will therefore play with Atalanta unless an opportunity emerges from abroad: negotiations with Inter Milan can be considered over.
Roma keep Koné as Inter Milan shift focus away from wingers
Roma, meanwhile, decided to retain Koné and have no intention of reopening talks with Inter Milan.
Although a small door was left open since Koné was initially put on the market to support incoming transfers, Inter Milan never had the time to even make an offer, as Roma ultimately changed their stance.
