Kristjan Asllani appears close to leaving Inter Milan, with Bologna in pole position after new contacts reopened negotiations

Kristjan Asllani’s future could lie at Bologna. The latest update comes from French outlet Footmercato via Fcinter1908: “According to our information, the future of Kristjan Asllani at Inter Milan is more uncertain than ever.

Piero Ausilio had already hinted that the Albanian midfielder’s adventure was nearing its end, but fresh contacts have recently reopened the case.

Bologna is now in pole position to secure the former Empoli player, with advanced talks for a permanent transfer worth around seventeen million euros (about fourteen and a half million pounds).

Inter Milan would also retain a percentage on any potential future resale.

Bologna ready with long-term contract to make Asllani central

“The Rossoblù are reportedly preparing a five-year contract for Asllani, a clear sign of their intention to make him a key figure in their European project, as requested by the Albanian international’s entourage.

In the past, other clubs such as Real Betis, Torino, and Fiorentina had explored the possibility of signing him, but today Bologna seems to have taken a clear lead in the race for his signature.

The coming hours should help define the final details of the agreement with the twenty-three-year-old, who has already given his approval.”
