Inter Milan eyes Zirkzee return to Serie A from Man United
The Dutch striker is back on Inter Milan's radar as a cost-effective and strategic summer target

Inter Milan targets Joshua Zirkzee for Summer move
Inter Milan has set its sights on Joshua Zirkzee. According to Corriere dello Sport via Fcinter1908.it, the Nerazzurri are working on a plan to bring the Dutch striker back to Italy.
The club’s idea is to offer Manchester United a loan deal with a buy option, which under certain conditions could become an obligation to buy.
Just last summer, the Red Devils triggered the €40 million (approx. £33.7 million) release clause to sign Zirkzee from Bologna.
That figure, while significant, is no longer seen as excessive—especially for a forward of his quality whose market value has slightly dipped over the past 12 months.

His current wage, around €3.5 million (approx. 2.9 million) per season plus bonuses, is also considered manageable.
Given his age (23) and cost profile, the deal aligns with Oaktree’s long-term investment vision for Inter Milan. The coming weeks will determine whether the plan is realistically viable.
Zirkzee: style, potential, and Serie A experience
Zirkzee is known for his technical ability, physical presence, and versatility in attack. Standing at 1.93m, he combines size with surprising finesse, making him effective both as a target man and a creative forward.
During his time at Bologna, he stood out for his link-up play and ability to drop deep and involve teammates, drawing comparisons to players like Zlatan Ibrahimović in terms of style.
His previous experience in Serie A means he would need minimal adaptation time—another reason why Inter sees him as a strong candidate to reinforce their front line.
