"It was a very tough match, we were hoping to feel this good, and we are satisfied with the approach because afterwards our quality emerged. A dedication to my daughter? It’s the first time I managed to dedicate a goal to her, we are happy to have sent out an important signal. 

I try to put both my technical and human qualities on the pitch, and I’ve heard all sorts of things after the end of last season. 

It’s true that we didn’t win anything, but we went on a great journey. We cared a lot about having balance, I also talked about it with the coach, and we hope to keep going this way."

"We had wonderful feelings right from the start after the Club World Cup, we spoke a lot among ourselves, and the coach is giving us a huge hand, pushing us to work hard. 

We started this path with a new manager and we are happy with the result and the performance of the team. Surely, everyone was ready, including those who came in from the bench. 

When you start a new season, energy is renewed—we are Inter Milan and we always want to stay on top. 

I’ve scored prettier goals than this one, but the important thing is that the ball goes into the net. We are trying to enjoy these moments, and I am happy with the attitude and mindset shown on the pitch.
