Now Inter Milan can go all the way. How many are truly better than Lautaro?

On the pages of La Gazzetta dello Sport, Stefano Agresti commented on Inter Milan’s outstanding performance at San Siro against Bayern Munich:
"And now Inter Milan are there. Three games from the Champions League title, three steps from glory.
Alongside Barcelona, Arsenal, and Paris Saint-Germain: big, strong opponents, but neither insurmountable nor superior. Inter Milan will compete on roughly equal terms with the others for the title of European champions.
After eliminating Bayern with authority, a team that may have been missing key players but remains a top-level opponent, Inter Milan can go all the way.
Their next challenge is Barcelona, possibly the toughest remaining opponent. Barça brings back wonderful memories for Inter Milan fans: even in the treble-winning season, Mourinho’s team played the semifinal against the Catalans, who at the time, with Messi at his peak, truly seemed unbeatable.
This time, they don’t. And they aren’t.
Only someone naïve would have thought that winning in Bavaria, combined with Bayern’s notable absences, would eliminate or lessen the risks of the clash at San Siro.

The Germans still have serious quality, top-class players, and a history that — at this level — matters.
This is the second time in three years that Inter Milan have reached the Champions League semifinals, and in 2023, they climbed all the way to the final.
That consistency shows how strong the group built by Inter Milan’s management truly is, starting with Marotta — who has even handled a change of ownership in the meantime — and how skilled Inzaghi has been in shaping a team capable of competing at the highest levels, even beyond Italy.
A great club, a great coach, and of course, great players. We often fall in love with stars from other leagues — and there are certainly many extraordinary ones — but we risk underestimating the ones we see every day.
Take Lautaro: are there really many strikers in the world better than him? A player who’s both a goalscorer and a leader, decisive on the pitch and a team man off it?"
