Luis Henrique says yes to Inter Milan: Club World Cup the target

The Brazilian player is highly appreciated by the Nerazzurri, who are working to reach an agreement with him and the French club, although there is still a gap in the valuation of the transfer fee.

Matteo Moretto (Italian sports journalist) provided an update on the negotiations between Inter Milan and Marseille for the Brazilian winger. 

It’s no secret: Luis Henrique is one of Inter Milan’s targets. 

Speaking on Fabrizio Romano’s YouTube channel, Matteo Moretto outlined the current state of talks between the Nerazzurri and the French club via Fcinter1908.it.

“Inter Milan want Henrique. It’s true that many clubs are interested in him, and it’s true he’s on Bayern Munich’s list, but according to our information, the player has already said yes to Inter Milan, so negotiations between the two parties have already started. Contacts are underway and the player has already given his green light.

What’s missing to close the deal? At the moment, the gap between Marseille and Inter Milan is around €10 million (£8.5 million), including fixed and variable components. 

Inter Milan consider Henrique one of the most promising players in that position and would like to finalize the deal in May to have him available for the Club World Cup. The Nerazzurri are aware that Marseille don’t consider the player untouchable, and the French club needs to sell for financial fair play reasons. 

Inter Milan are confident that further talks in the coming weeks will lead to a breakthrough. 

Despite heavy competition, Luis Henrique is focused on joining Inter Milan.”
