After João Cancelo’s return falls through, Inter Milan turn their attention to Genoa’s young right wing-back
With the return of João Cancelo now off the table, Inter Milan are once again active on the market in search of a right wing-back.
According to la Repubblica via Fcinter1908, there is one name above all others on the Nerazzurri’s shortlist.
“Inter Milan and Juventus are set for a duel over right-sided wing-back Norton-Cuffy. For now, these are expressions of interest, with no official offers submitted to the Ligurian club,” reports the newspaper.
Still according to Repubblica, Genoa value the player at around €20 million, a figure that would represent the asking price for his transfer.

Who is Norton-Cuffy?
Born in 2004, Brooke Norton-Cuffy is a dynamic and powerful right-sided player who can operate both as a wing-back and as a more traditional full-back.
After developing in Arsenal’s academy, he joined Genoa, where he has steadily grown in stature thanks to his physicality, pace, and ability to push forward consistently down the flank.
Norton-Cuffy stands out for his athletic profile, strong one-on-one defending, and willingness to attack space, qualities that fit perfectly with a system based on wing-backs. While his offensive output can still improve, his engine and intensity make him a modern wide defender with significant upside.
At just 21 years old, he represents a profile aligned with Inter Milan’s strategy: young, physically ready, and with room for growth at a high level. The interest from Juventus further underlines the player’s rising stock in Serie A.
For now, it remains a market duel in its early stages. But if Inter Milan decide to move concretely, €20 million is the figure required to bring Norton-Cuffy to Milan.
