The words of the German defender and of Stefan de Vrij after the win over Cagliari

A powerful header for the 3-1 goal that sealed the three points, coming just minutes after conceding a goal. 

Yann Bisseck left his mark on Inter Milan’s victory at San Siro against Cagliari, in the match valid for Serie A’s 32nd round.
The German defender was decisive, along with his teammate Stefan de Vrij, who preserved the lead with a crucial goal-line clearance. 

After the match, they both commented on the Nerazzurri's win:

“I'm really happy to have scored, but the most important thing is the win and the great performance. 

Sometimes when we come out after the break, we're a bit tired, but we prepared well for this match and had a strong second half.
After the game against Parma, we knew we had to stay focused for the full 90 minutes — we always need to improve. Every team is well-prepared, and every match is tough, but we defended well and have to keep this up, even against Bayern.
I've improved a lot, my development is going well and I’m satisfied.
And yes, my celebration was like JR Smith’s — I really enjoy the NBA, but since I was born in Europe, I chose to play football.”

“We play with our own identity, just as the coach wants. I think we’re a unique team — we’re dynamic, we move a lot, and we defend together. 

We have many playing principles and we want to show them in every match.
On the goal-line clearance, I saw the ball coming through and I closed down the far post with an intervention that, luckily, turned out to be decisive. If it had gone to 3-2, we would’ve been at risk.
I think making mistakes is human, but we always have the desire not to concede. We always aim to improve.
Feelings ahead of the match against Bayern? In the first leg they played well with attacking football, they have top-class players who can make the difference. 

They’ll play to turn the result around, but we have to put in a great performance.”
