PSG and Donnarumma are far apart in renewal talks as Europe's top clubs circle for a possible move

Gianluigi Donnarumma has yet to renew his contract with Paris Saint-Germain, which is set to expire in just over a year.

The goalkeeper wishes to stay in Paris, but there is a gap between his salary demands—close to €10 million (£8.5 million) per year—and the club’s offer of €6–7 million (£5.1-5.9 million) plus bonuses. Following a standout season, Donnarumma is requesting a raise.

As the Italian football journalist Alfredo Pedullà reports, if PSG does not approach a double-digit offer per season, reaching an agreement could prove difficult, even though Donnarumma was one of the key figures in their campaign.

Inter Milan and Juventus Open Talks as Premier League Giants Monitor Situation

"In recent weeks, there have been contacts with Inter Milan and Juventus, both of whom had already considered the idea in the past.

Gianluigi Donnarumma has yet to renew his contract with Paris Saint-Germain, which is set to expire in just over a year.

Inter Milan made inquiries last January, while Juventus had been thinking about him before turning to Di Gregorio—and are now back in the mix.

Inter Milan would be interested in signing him on a free transfer, offering around €9 million (£7.6 million) including bonuses.

Juventus, on the other hand, would move a year before the contract expires, offering a lower salary. In their case, qualifying for the Champions League would be a crucial factor."

There’s strong competition, particularly from England, where Manchester City would make a serious move if Ederson were to leave for Saudi Arabia or elsewhere.

Meeting both PSG’s and Donnarumma’s demands wouldn’t be a problem for them. In the background, Bayern Munich remains a possible destination, as previously reported.

Ultimately, while Donnarumma prioritizes staying at PSG, it hinges on a convincing proposal in what has been a high-profile season.

If not, a transfer battle is brewing—and major clubs are already maneuvering.
