Cristian Chivu is set to start from tactical stability, but gradual changes to Inzaghi’s Inter Milan may emerge as the season progresses
As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport via Fcinter1908.it, Cristian Chivu may implement tactical changes throughout the season to the Inter Milan team seen under Simone Inzaghi until the end of May.
The starting point will be tactical stability. With limited time and the FIFA Club World Cup approaching, it’s unthinkable to overhaul Inter Milan’s identity so quickly.
But, as Gazzetta writes:
"Chivu must shape Inter Milan. He has to design the team according to his ideas, but it's natural for him to take a measured approach, not to disrupt a group that’s coming off a long tenure under another coach and is still affected by the Champions League final loss."

The Romanian coach has shown flexibility in his tactics during his time with Inter Milan Primavera and a spell at Parma.
Now, time is limited—so it’s nearly certain Inter Milan will stick to the familiar 3-5-2 for the Club World Cup.
Pressing, central midfield role changes, and forward movements
However, changes may appear over time. The U.S. friendlies in Los Angeles and Seattle could even offer a chance to experiment.
Some adjustments might include more advanced midfielders making frequent runs into the box and becoming the first line of pressing. Wing-backs may be asked to drift inward rather than sticking to the flanks.
Lastly, the forwards: Chivu is a big admirer of Lautaro and Thuram, but he might tweak their positioning.
At Parma, his two strikers often played with one behind the other—a setup we could see at Inter Milan too.
