However, there is one name Chivu is certain to bring with him from Parma: Angelo Palombo.

A familiar figure to both club president Beppe Marotta (from their time at Sampdoria) and to Inter Milan fans, Palombo wore the Nerazzurri shirt for six months, from January to June 2012. He is set to join Chivu’s staff as an assistant.

Palombo’s return marks another symbolic bridge between the club’s past and its new leadership.

His experience, both as a player and youth coach, fits the philosophy Inter Milan is building around Chivu—a project based on identity, continuity, and future development.
