Inter Milan issue one-week ultimatum over Lookman deal

Nerazzurri tired of delays and ready to change transfer strategy if no agreement is reached
In one week, it will have to be definitively in or out. No more extensions. Inter Milan is tired of the drawn-out negotiations for Ademola Lookman and, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport via Fcinter1908, has sent an ultimatum to both the player and Atalanta.
Without Lookman, Inter Milan could target Koné for midfield and Solet for defence
Without a happy ending, the Nerazzurri would change strategy, investing in both a midfielder (Koné) and a defender (Solet).

The paper writes: “The Lookman soap opera has lasted long enough. Inter Milan is giving an ultimatum to the player and to Atalanta: the club is not willing to wait more than another week.
This is therefore the deadline set by Marotta and Ausilio for this signing, which will either be completed before the start of the season or vanish definitively, with the club turning to other targets.
And they are not necessarily attackers: Inter Milan could decide to keep investing in other positions, from midfield — where a concrete target could be Manu Koné of Roma (offered to the Nerazzurri) — to defence, where the name is Solet of Udinese.”
