Inter Milan launches massive bid to steal Lookman from Atalanta

The Nerazzurri are ready to break the bank for the Nigerian star, with Oaktree’s green light and a deal closer than ever

There are also confirmations coming from Bergamo: Inter Milan is expected to make a new offer within hours to land Ademola Lookman, their top target to strengthen the attack.

As reported by Corriere di Bergamo via Fcinter1908:

"Inter Milan is close to formalizing an offer worth €45 million (£38.2 million) to approach the €50 million (£42.4 million) asking price from Atalanta for the Nigerian. The Oaktree fund has approved the addition of €3 million (£2.5 million) in fixed fees and €2 million (£1.7 million) in bonuses, effectively halving the gap."

In Milan, there is growing confidence: insiders at Viale della Liberazione are calling this the “week of Lookman”, and a third bid may arrive sooner than expected.

"Also because Marotta’s Inter Milan has decided to abandon the Leoni track in order to go all-in on the Nigerian and close the deal," the newspaper writes.
