Inter Milan have not given up on Ademola Lookman: the Atalanta forward remains a target as the club considers a new move

The negotiations for Atalanta’s striker are still alive for Inter Milan, who could make a new push in the coming week.

The deal for Ademola Lookman is not over. It’s only on hold, with Inter Milan considering whether to make another move to get closer to the Atalanta forward. “Roma’s sudden withdrawal from Manu Koné changes Inter Milan’s transfer plans once again.

The Nerazzurri, who were planning to shift much of the budget initially allocated to Lookman towards the Giallorossi midfielder, are now reflecting again.

There is room for an important signing, but the right profile must be identified both technically and financially.

The Lookman deal is in a stalemate, but it’s not dead yet: the striker has returned to Portugal and is waiting for news,” wrote Sportmediaset via Fcinter1908.

The transfer stalemate could change at any moment

“Atalanta continues to stand firm but will hardly be able to count on Ademola again, with Juric considering the Nigerian’s departure as already a given (as he said on Friday in l’interista).

It will be up to Inter Milan to make a new attempt with the Bergamo club, but then there is always the market and those ‘famous’ opportunities that can change everything.

Manu Koné was one of those, and it’s quite likely others will appear. It will be up to Marotta and Ausilio to decide whether to seize them or keep hoping for Lookman,” the sports site added.
