With Arnautovic and Correa on their way out, new strikers are being targeted
In his editorial for TuttoMercatoWeb via Fcinter1908.it, Italian transfer expert Niccolò Ceccarini outlined the likely moves Inter Milan could make in the attacking department during the upcoming summer transfer window.
With the confirmed departures of Marko Arnautovic and Joaquín Correa, the Nerazzurri are in search of new attacking solutions to bolster their frontline.
“There are several options being evaluated, but lately a new name has emerged,” Ceccarini wrote.
That name is Joshua Zirkzee, the Dutch striker currently with Manchester United. The 22-year-old has not had the impact many expected in the Premier League, and this could open the door to a move away from Old Trafford.
According to Ceccarini, Inter Milan are considering a loan move with an option to buy, potentially a paid loan deal to convince United.
The formula would allow Inter Milan to secure a quality forward without a heavy immediate investment — a strategy often favored by Serie A clubs managing tight budgets.
However, the success of this approach will largely depend on Manchester United’s willingness to negotiate under these terms.
Versatile profiles and flexible deals are being considered by the Nerazzurri
Another name resurfacing in Inter Milan’s shortlist is Giacomo Raspadori. The Napoli forward, known for his technical ability and tactical flexibility, has been on Inter Milan’s radar before and could be seen as an ideal supporting striker or false nine in Simone Inzaghi’s system.
However, Napoli’s valuation of Raspadori is quite high, which complicates any straightforward deal.
To navigate this, Inter Milan could involve other players in a potential swap or larger negotiation package — notably Davide Frattesi, a midfielder who has long been admired by Napoli and might be used as a bargaining chip to lower Raspadori’s cost.
Inter Milan are also following Bonny, the powerful and promising young striker from Parma.

The 20-year-old has caught the attention of several Serie A clubs thanks to his physical presence and strong performances in Serie B.
While he may not be ready for a starting role at a club like Inter Milan, he represents a smart long-term investment for depth and development.
In midfield, Nico Paz, the Argentine talent continues to be a target. Inter Milan see him as a creative option for the future and are keeping tabs on his situation, especially if an opportunity for a loan or favorable deal arises.
With multiple exits expected, Inter Milan are positioning themselves to refresh their attack with younger, versatile players capable of adapting to Inzaghi’s fast, fluid system.
The summer window promises to be active for the Nerazzurri, as they seek to build on the success of their recent domestic campaigns and remain competitive on the European stage.
