Fabrizio Romano shares the latest on Ademola Lookman's future and the tense negotiation between Inter Milan and Atalanta, currently in a deadlock

Speaking on his YouTube channel, Fabrizio Romano via Fcinter1908 gave an update on the Ademola Lookman situation:

“Lookman continues to skip training, holding his ground in an ongoing standoff. We can add that, based on our information, he hasn't shown up for training.

It seems to be an irreparable situation. Inter Milan is in a waiting position, anticipating Atalanta to provide clarity — either to them directly or through the player’s agents.

Atalanta is in no rush; they remain calm and are sticking to Percassi’s stance. Atalanta will dictate the timing and method of this deal.”

Inter Milan is waiting for a price tag before deciding how to proceed. Additionally, we can confirm that Lookman is currently not in Italy — he will return, of course, but for now, he is abroad".

Tension high as Lookman holds out, Inter Milan waits on price

"He’s keeping a firm stance toward Atalanta, and the same goes for the club. So what’s next? Patience is needed. Inter Milan, through Marotta, had hoped for a quick resolution, but things are dragging out. Without a clear, written figure to evaluate, Inter Milan will not make any move.”

Fabrizio Romano shares the latest on Ademola Lookman's future and the tense negotiation between Inter Milan and Atalanta, currently in a deadlock.

“The key word is evaluate — Inter Milan wants to understand the price. If Atalanta doesn’t name a number, Inter Milan won’t act.

It’s a chess match filled with tension, with a clear breakdown in the relationship between Lookman and Atalanta. Still, Atalanta is standing strong, unwilling to compromise.”

Romano also provided an update on Palacios, targeted by Basel:

“Basel are working on a loan deal for Palacios, with an option to buy and a buy-back clause,” explained the transfer expert.
