Inter Milan secured three points against Hellas Verona thanks to Kristjan Asllani’s first Serie A goal from the penalty spot, which proved decisive at San Siro.

The midfielder, named MVP of the match, found the net in the league for the first time since March 4, 2024, and shared his thoughts in a post-match interview:

“We all have to work together, we’re a strong team both on and off the pitch. We’re all happy, and now we have a very important match on Tuesday – the most important of the year.

Reaching the end of every competition was one of our goals. We’re out of the Coppa Italia, we’ve dropped points in the league, but you never know – there are still three games left and staying focused will be key.

Of course, there’s a huge desire to reach the Champions League final again because we know what it means. 

Against Barcelona, we’ll need a lot of desire and quality. Now we have two days to prepare for this match, and I believe that, in front of our fans, we’ll play a great game.”
