Lautaro sidelined, Calhanoglu and Dumfries back in training

Fresh from the win in Lecce, Inter Milan turn their focus to Tuesday night at San Siro against Bodo/Glimt, but they will not be at full strength.

According to Repubblica via Fcinter1908, Lautaro Martinez will miss the clash as he continues his recovery from a calf injury. 

The Argentine striker is expected to need at least four more weeks before returning to action, ruling him out not only for the European fixture but also for upcoming league commitments.

There is better news regarding Hakan Calhanoglu and Denzel Dumfries. Both players have rejoined full training with the squad and are likely to start from the bench against the Norwegian side. 

Their gradual reintegration offers Cristian Chivu valuable depth at a crucial stage of the season.

Squad depth to make the difference

Even without Lautaro, Inter Milan still boast significant quality across the pitch. From Manuel Akanji and Alessandro Bastoni in defence, to Piotr Zielinski and Federico Dimarco, the Nerazzurri have technical quality in every department.

On paper, the options available to Chivu should be enough to overcome Hauge and teammates. 

The real challenge will be turning that quality into efficiency through tactical organisation and bravery in key moments.
