Ademola Lookman remains in Bergamo due to injury as Inter Milan wait on a new response from Atalanta following a second transfer bid
Negotiations continue for Ademola Lookman's potential move to Inter Milan. The Nerazzurri have made a new offer after their first proposal was rejected and are now awaiting a response from Atalanta.
"Everything is on hold for Lookman. The team will depart this afternoon for Germany without him, as he continues individual training in Zingonia.
Luca Percassi clarified on Wednesday: the Nigerian wants to leave Atalanta. It's been over two weeks since his minor calf strain, and if he were fully recovered, Lookman would have been included in the squad today.

This isn’t a case of a fallout between the player and the Bergamo club. On the contrary, Lookman could be back in action in Cologne next week.
Unlike last year, when Paris Saint-Germain expressed interest and he asked not to be called up, this time the Nigerian has shown confidence in Atalanta's decisions," reports Corriere di Bergamo via Fcinter1908.
Atalanta remains firm as Inter Milan pushes for Lookman
Although Inter Milan is pushing for a swift deal, Atalanta is taking a calm and deliberate approach.
The Bergamo CEO has made it clear: the club will evaluate the offer without pressure and on its own terms. Lookman will only be sold if the right conditions are met.
And those conditions likely do not include the current €45 million (around £38 million) offer.
Atalanta is asking for €50 million (about £42 million), while Inter Milan's current offer includes only €42 million (roughly £36 million) in guaranteed fees.
Meanwhile, Atlético Madrid is still monitoring the situation and has recently shown interest in Giacomo Raspadori, who is also on Inter Milan’s radar as a possible attacking reinforcement.
