Dumfries, MVP brace: "We Played with Heart, This Is the Real Inter Milan"

A spectacular performance from the Dutch wing-back, who scored with an overhead kick and a header: he becomes the first Inter player ever to score a brace in a Champions League semi-final.

It was as if he’d never been out: after a period on the sidelines, Denzel Dumfries came back running—faster than ever.

After the match, the Inter Milan wing-back shared his emotions:

"It was a great match. We played well after three straight defeats, and tonight we saw the real Inter Milan—we played with heart. 

We want to win, and everything is still open for the return leg at San Siro. I’m happy with the two goals. It was a tough time for me because of the injury, but now I’m back. We are a strong team, and we prove it every match."
