Valentin Carboni is at a crossroads. The Argentine playmaker is currently with Inter Milan’s squad coached by Cristian Chivu on tour in the United States, but his future remains undecided.

In the last few hours, Carboni has been linked with a club in Serie A. 

According to La Repubblica via Fcinter1908, Genoa has shown concrete interest. Initially, the Grifone targeted Francesco Pio Esposito, but with Esposito staying under Chivu’s guidance, all eyes have now shifted to Carboni.

Swap deal on the table: Carboni for De Winter?

According to the Genoa edition of the newspaper, Valentin Carboni could be used as a bargaining chip in a potential swap deal for Koni De Winter. 

The Belgian centre-back, born in 2002, is one of the names on Inter Milan’s shortlist for defensive reinforcements.
